Meet n' Greet

11/18/2018

Comments

Sister Hunny Bunches of Oaths put together an event to bring our the community and the Sisters closer together.

We told stories, and shared the blessings of our ministry with patrons, and then had pie and holiday punch!

The littlest Sister, Queen Ciabatta Ding Dong, was also there, collecting toys for her toy drive/novice project.  She definitely scored some toys today!

Angel Shane Linden's Birthday

11/17/2018

Comments

Shane is one of our newly named Angels.  He has done, and continues to do so much for our house.  It truly is a blessing and honor to know him, and call him a friend.

A few of us had the opportunity to attend his birthday party.  We all indulged in snacks, beverages, and even a fellow attendee who decided to loose his shirt.

If you don't remember, Shane did the portraits for Exequatur, as well as our house portraits.  If  you need some photography done, hit him up.  You won't be disappointed!

Fetish Flea

We were invited to Missie B's to participate in the Fetish Flea.  The event had a great turnout, and the vendors were all wonderful!  We talked to so many guests and vendors, sharing our Sistory, and learning the history of others and their endeavors.

The organizers provided breakfast (muffins and bottled water), and then ordered pizza for lunch!  When it came time to run our raffle, some of the vendors contributed items to our basket, and a business card.  The winner was so happy!  He and his girlfriend couldn't wait to get home and rip that basket apart!!!

MTA: Blue Boy Bash

11/3/2018

Comments

As usual, the Sisters were requested to provide coat check services at the front door, as well as clothes check upstairs in the private event.  They came an hour early for setup, and stayed an hour late to help with cleanup.

The event went very well with Novice Sister Goldie Grrr running things.  She and her crew made sure patrons were given a bag and a number on their wristband.  All items were claimed by their owners, and nothing was left behind!

From the tramp team who brought you "DNA in the Dark" comes...

BLUEBOY BASH

We know how fast you whorelinas fill up your social calendars, so mark the date now as we bring you a steamy night of sexual energy from the bath houses of the 70's. Through all your senses, we will take you back to the days with those sights, sounds (and, YES, smells) and introduce you to some new ones!

As usual, dress code is minimal (think old school jockstraps or just a towel). We are looking at a possible new venue which may allow even more freedom. More on that will be forthcoming.

We do love our contests and this time around it is "The Best Bush Contest". The theme is before the days of manscaping, the days of pride in your pubes. So cease the trimming and shaving now and let it run wild. The prize packages will be well worth it and the fun, priceless...

Black Mass

Black Mass was at a private party, in a private home, but was an interesting experience.  We got a couple pics, and had a lot of fun. They were very hospitable, provided snacks, drinks, and even had a smoking patio with an umbrella!

Sister Burma's Coven

10/28/2018

Comments

Sinsational Sundays have taken over Sidestreet Bar the fourth Sunday of each month.

This month, Sister Burma threw her Coven party.  While the weather took a turn, and participation was lower than usual, we still had a great afternoon and enjoyed the cool breeze on that sunny patio!

Join us next month for another Sinsational Sunday.

2nd Annual Haunted Pub Crawl

The City of Fountains Sisters held a hauntingly joyous journey through the city. The adventure began at Missie B's and wound its way though Sidestreet Bar, Sidekicks, Hamburger Mary’s, and beyond...

There were tasty elixirs from our cauldron and some chilling entertainment both on, and off, the bus! We held a best dressed contest, and the winning undead was Divine!  She earned herself a cash prize, and then graciously donated it back to the house.

All proceeds benefit The Hope Care Center of Kansas City.

Run 816

10/20/2018

Comments

We were asked to stand along the run route and cheer on the runners, and engage with the crowd.

We brought coffee, water, and quick snacks to share with passing runners and observers.  We found that coffee cups worked perfectly for noise.

The City of Fountains Sisters welcomed Sisters, Guards, Popes, Priests, family, friends, and so many more magical beings from all over the country to attend this huge celebration and recognition as a Fully Professed House in the Order of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

On Thursday, Novice Sister Leia hosted our Meet n Greet at Sidekicks Saloon, followed by Karaoke and Cocktails at Missie B's.  Afterward, some of us headed over to KC Pizza Kitchen for a late night snack before bed.

Picture
Friday, Sister Ethyl hosted the Viewing of the Cockettes at the Alamo Draft House.  The event was well received and all in attendance were incredibly happy to have had that opportunity!

Next was the Nelson Atkins Museum Tour, hosted by Novice Sister FranKenSiren.  It was a lot of walking, but luckily everyone wore their comfy shoes!  Dinner at The Parlor was next, and quite tasty.  Some decided to venture to Olive Garden, and guess they couldn't resist those unlimited bread sticks.

Picture
After dinner, Novice Sister Goldie Grrr lead the Candyland Disco party at Side Street Bar.  We surprised Sister Freida with a cake made by Sister Lemonade, fabulous jewels, snacks, and disco tunes to dance to.

Sister Crema Tory from Louisville also publically gifted her house coronet, the GBFH (Great Big Fucking Hat) to Sister CupKake on the back patio, after Sister Freida's cake ceremony.

Saturday had a late start, with FREE BBQ at Missie B's, followed by City of Fountains Sisters Exequatur: Sacrilicious in the evening, at The Arts Asylum.

This wonderful split image, created by Novice Sister Cheez Whiz Fabulous, shows our rehearsal and the group number at Exequatur.  While it was work, as with any Sister event, it was a lot of fun, and brought us closer as a House, and community.

The after party "Drink'n N Dance'n" was at Missie B's.  We all made it about an hour, and walked next door to KC Pizza Kitchen for dinner, relaxation, conversation, and laughter.

Not sure who took this picture, but we thanked them multiple times.  It is always great to sit and chat with members of other houses!

Sunday, we all gathered at Californos for brunch.  Sister Ethyl lead the Glitter Ceremony, and Sister Krisko gifted the entire house Mish Mirrors, with special ones for the Founding Members.  We were so very lucky Novice Sister Lemonade took the time to document as many encounters as she could!

A huge round of 'thank yous' to everyone that took pictures and videos, and sent them to our house.  There is so much content, it is overwhelming.  The love and support provided by all of you, your houses, friends, family, and any other members of our community was, and is, overwhelming and magical.  Thank you!!!

Equality Family Picnic

A few Sisters went to Porter Park in Prairie Village to read stories to the kiddos, play on the swings, and even shoot some hoops!

The look on that innocent child's face when anyone approached the bubble machine - priceless!
