Sister Goldie Grrr's Jungle Jubilee

Sinsational Sundays have taken over Sidestreet Bar the fourth Sunday of each month.

This month, Sister Goldie Grrr threw her Jungle Jubilee party. The Jungle Juice and Beer Bust were quite a hit. There was a costume contest and two raffles, one with a bourbon bbq bucket, and the other was a cash prize!

Oh, and we had to stop into Raising Cane's to test out their fry sauce, and iced tea...

Sister Burma's Meet-N-Greet

It all started with a brief conversation about spreading joy, and growing our membership at The Redd Party back in May.... At the end of the night, in a well lit dressing room, we decided to take a picture in the style of the Uncle Sam posters from WWI. Fast forward 3 months, and we had our first EVER Meet-n-Greet.

We started our afternoon at Sidestreet Bar, caravaned to Sidekicks Saloon, and ended at Missie B's. It was a warrrrmmmm day, but nobody melted...not even CupKake!

While spreading joy and having a ton of fun, we taught patrons about safe sex, passed out bliss kits, Sistory pamphlets, and information about local LGBT organizations. We also taught patrons about the Sisters, our mission.

Oh! 1) We even gained ten new aspirants....yes, TEN!
Oh! 2) We raised a bit of coin for local charities!

Quarterly LGBT Leadership Forum

The quarterly LGBT Leadership Forum brings LGBTQIA leaders and groups all over the Kansas City metro together to speak on topics that can bring positive change to the community.

This quarter, the Sisters sponsored the snacks, and spoke about the upcoming Exequatur in October.

Bear Crossing 5: Lost Bearadise

Bear Crossing 5: Lost Bearadise was as fun as the previous years, if not more! The Sisters worked clothes check for the meet-n-greet party the first day. Second day, set up an information table and shared the Sistory with some guests.

After all the working, there was good food, and a little fun at the water park!
