Sister FloraFauna Anne Merryweather
PARLIAMENTARIAN
Once upon a time in a land not so far away, right here in Kansas City in fact there was born a small child that would one day grow into the big nun with a bigger name Sister FloraFauna Anne Merryweather, Flora for short. Flora has been on many epic quests in service of the community over the years and has a passion for spreading love. With their love of service, traditions and clowns their discovery of the Sisters was only a mater of time. After getting pelted with candy hurled by a sister at a show they knew they had to get one of those veils. The journey wasn’t without a few trials and tribulations but Sister Flora is proud to be a Fully Professed member of the City of Fountains house. Flora believes that everyone is the hero of their own tale, and is eager to help others on their path however possible. True love isn’t just for Fairy Tales and takes many shapes. Sister Flora is a sucker for traditions and can most often be found in a traditional nun’s habit as a symbol of service to the community and a reminder of those that have come before. The clown face reminds us of the role of the sacred clown Flora tries to embody and to never take one’s self too seriously. When not in face or volunteering Flora can be found curling up with a good book, or watching a Disney movie. Usually with a handcrafted cocktail (or three). You are all loved and worthy. I can’t wait to meet everyone that reads this and share in your stories. More Love Always! |
