Postulant Sister Faerie Poppins

I don’t want to just exist, I want to create and leave a legacy of love everywhere I go, in everyone I meet. I want to make a difference. I want to be remembered. I’ve always known that my ‘calling’ would be to serve, assist, and lift up those around me, but I’ve struggled with finding a way to do that. Until now.

I’m Sister Faerie Poppins. I originate from the West Coast, but have been fortunate to have lived all over the place. My life has been full, both in good and painful times, and I want to use my experiences to help others.

Pain is temporary. Even if you don’t see the end immediately in sight, it’s temporary and will dull and fade or disappear eventually. Right now, there is A LOT of pain in the world. Don’t let the aches of today cause you to withdraw or isolate. We can’t do this alone.

Talk to one another, but listen more than you talk. Your experiences will shape how you see the world just as their experiences will shape how they see the world.

Below all of the feelings and beliefs, there is fact. Be open to realizing, your view, your beliefs, your experiences may not always align with actual truth and more times than not, they won’t align with those that you talk to, but don’t let the conversations stop.

Above all, friends, love one another, more now than ever. Because whatever you’re going through, that righteous anger, that fear and uncertainty, is real and valid. And we need one another to pull through it and make things better, not just for us in our immediate lives, but for those out there that don’t have a community like this to turn to.
