Novice Sister Evelyn Disguise
I am Sister Evelyn Disguise! Kansas City native and lover of all things witchy. Second oldest in a small Catholic family of six kids. As a child in the church I felt a connection to the nuns. Some of whom were my teachers. I loved their habits and their devotion to their work. On one All Saints Day we were to dress as our favorite saints. I wanted to be St. Catherine Laboure because I loved her coif. Needless to say that was not permitted and I was quite discouraged. Fast forward a few years to New Orleans Southern Decadence parade as I watched in awe as the Big Easy Sisters passed by in sacreligious splendor. I knew I had to join them. As soon as I learned about our local chapter I rushed to become a member. The sisters have been very warm and welcoming and work so hard to give to our wonderful community and I am thrilled and humbled to be a part of it.
