Baby Blanket Delivery

Novice Sister Molly held her Novice Project recently, and the culmination of said project was the delivery of the baby blankets crafted with love and joy.

We started out at Saint Luke’s East at 10am, then headed to Saint Luke’s Plaza, and ended at Saint Luke’s North.

Novice Sister Cathy Lick gave a blessing to kick off this annual event. Of course, the Sisters and Guards practiced social distancing AND wore their masks. The COVID-19 pandemic is real, but we can still safely show joy and love.

This was also the last delivery of cards for Novice Sister Ultra Brocade's Novice Project, "Cards of Care". She hand wrote cards to the residents of Hope Care Center to remind them they matter, and are loved!

COFS Drag Queen Story Time

This month Novice Sister Bach LaVa takes the helm after the completion of Sr. Goldie Grrr's Novice Project, Drag Queen Story Time!

We had a lot to be thankful for with Thanksgiving right around the corner. Gathered with friends and chosen family, the queens read stories of positivity and hilarity.

Special thanks to Lana Luxx, Astro the clown, and Kissy Lee for joining us, reading to the kids, and performing!

It is okay to live your truth.

Proceeds from the event benefit:

○ Kansas City's Youth Prom

Novice Sister I'Gnomee Truth was also elevated to Fully Professed at intermission!!!

Sister Burma's Meet-N-Greet

It all started with a brief conversation about spreading joy, and growing our membership at The Redd Party back in May.... At the end of the night, in a well lit dressing room, we decided to take a picture in the style of the Uncle Sam posters from WWI. Fast forward 3 months, and we had our first EVER Meet-n-Greet.

We started our afternoon at Sidestreet Bar, caravaned to Sidekicks Saloon, and ended at Missie B's. It was a warrrrmmmm day, but nobody melted...not even CupKake!

While spreading joy and having a ton of fun, we taught patrons about safe sex, passed out bliss kits, Sistory pamphlets, and information about local LGBT organizations. We also taught patrons about the Sisters, our mission.

Oh! 1) We even gained ten new aspirants....yes, TEN!
Oh! 2) We raised a bit of coin for local charities!
